Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her films are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). In New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office star of the globe after just three films. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. The actress has appeared in a variety of other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among others. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different times.
